Are you the go-to person on site when the finish has to be perfect? We’re looking for a seasoned Concrete Finisher to be the "expert on site" for our growing team. If you’ve got the skills, we’ve got the respect and the steady work to match.

Start Location - Thornstreet Depot (Free Parking on site)
9 Day Fortnights (Every second Monday Off)

The job involves high-end finishing and screeding for Council maintenance projects. A big part of what we need is someone who can talk to the crew, share their tricks of the trade, and make sure everyone is working safely and to a high standard.

What we're looking for:

• At least 4 years of solid experience in civil concreting.

• Someone who is a good communicator and doesn't mind coaching others.

• A massive focus on quality—you do it right the first time.

• A strong "safety first" attitude.

Job Description:

• Perform all aspects of concrete placement, finishing, and shaping to an impeccable standard, including floating, trowelling, and achieving various surface finishes (e.g., broom finish, smooth).

• Execute precision screeding and levelling using both hand tools and mechanical equipment (e.g., vibrating screeds) for footpaths, kerb and channel, slabs, and drainage structures.

• Accurately measure, set out, and construct form work and boxing for specific concreting requirements.

• Monitor concrete mix consistency, slump, and curing processes, making necessary on-site adjustments.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications

• White Card
• HR or MR license (desirable)
• 4+ years Experience in Concrete Finishing
• Civil Labouring Work
